Asta Petkeviciute has over 20 years of experience with a focus on strategic financial management, fiscal systems and organizational capacity development for non-profit organizations globally. She has provided financial management supports for various size organizations with the key focus on operational efficiency and effectiveness while strengthening organizational sustainability and diversifying business models, and meeting complex donor compliance requirements. She has a keen interest in leading teams through enterprise-wide systems related improvements to achieve sustainable change.
Asta’s experience ranges from leading one of the largest Fiscal Sponsorship programs in the US and managing a team of 35 staff members representing finance, legal, compliance and other operational functions to setting up risk-based internal audit efforts to providing finance, accounting and other program management supports and oversights to offices and grantees across the globe. Over the years, she also has had various opportunities to be in the role of strategic finance and management leadership roles while starting new organizations/ departments as well as supporting organizations as they are going through mergers, acquisitions or other operational or programmatic change management efforts.
Asta has a Master of Business Administration degree from Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Champlain College, Vermont, USA.
